Great place changed my perspective on life definetley recommend it
This place saved my life! If you are struggling with addiction or mental health issues this is the place to be. Thank you to all the staff! Thank you Lyndsay for helping me get on track, I was lost. The program was great and the food was good. I miss the mountain already. Thanks again!!! 💪😜👍💯 P.S. I'm All In!!!! P.S.S. Love ya AJ!
Best thing that ever happened to me. The staff is awesome, most are also in recovery which makes the process more relatable. It's a large college like campus with dorms. Wake every day, shower, get ready for the day (bring your clothes a d cosmetics, I recommend good shoes for running around campus too and a calling card.) Beautiful location too, great scenery. I even had seen a bobcat there one evening! The program is very busy, lectures, groups and so forth. I felt like I was in college. My life started here st Cove Forge, I can't say enough GREAT things about it.
Food sucked. BUT all the staff were genuinely caring, welcoming and helpful. I didn't feel judged for one instant. Also, its a gorgeous campus. I would recommend it to anyone needing alcohol &/or drug rehab.
My boyfriend went there. I went on a family visiting day where I got to spend 6 hours with him at a family group where families can talk to their loved ones about how their addictions affect them and families can learn about addiction if they aren't familiar with it.
Can anyone please tell me how I can talk to a family member of mine that has been placed in this rehab....I have been calling for weeks, left messages and I still haven't heard anything back. Are the patients allowed to talk on the phone or how can I get ahold of my family member?
I've been to this facility twice and I enjoyed my stay there both times... The counselors are amazing! I especially love the music program and counselor Larry! Thank you Cove for all your help! I love and respect you and I'm all in!
The most helpful 28 day program i know of. It is an amazing place that feels as comfortable as a 90 day program yet gives people the opportunity to get back on track also a personal thank you to Farley williams i beleive he is one of the most influentialon staff on the male side and shows amazing leadership in helping men learn how to handle their recovery and most importantly life as men should
overall, a not so goood experience. think the counseliing could be TONS better. felt little to no helpp at all through the couseling sessions. Good thing i got a blessing from God to be able to meeet Tech Cindy, who is the sole reason i recovered. Need more people like her to give the kind of help is actually needed.
I found the Staff (both Medical and Layman) very focused on my getting started living a new life thru recovery. I believe this rehab to be very client-oriented, our betterment is plainly seen, heard, and experienced. I would like to say that they have geared the 'best' classes and activities to those in their H.O.P.E. Program, which are those clients with opiate or alcohol abuse issues. Those who aren't entered into the H.O.P.E. program are not slated to participate these beneficial parts of "The Cove". Fortunately, I was able to do so. I just think it was a little biased.
I enjoyed my stay here. Beds & chairs were uncomfortable, but that is to be expected. Staff were generally nice & helpful, seemed interested in actually helping you in recovery. However, almost everyone I met in detox had already been there at least once, with some on their 5th+ trip to the facility. Finally, the main reason I did not give this five stars: The Food. I wouldn't feed this facility's food to my dog. Flavored cardboard comes to mind. As a consolation, there are plenty of crackers, bread, cereal & drinks to snack on throughout the day (which is basically what I lived on for a week). With all that being said, I would certainly recommend this program to anyone in need of help.
